PADDLES for PADS…A welcome back charity event
Paddles for PADS
THANK YOU for supporting PADS. We have forwarded your generous donations of $845.00 to PADS.
Our early Welcome Back event, Paddles for PADS, was a special day shared with 52 members of the South Cowichan Pickleball Club. A sunny morning welcomed us to the 4 outdoor courts where we scheduled 2 Round Robin events. Our special visitors arrived and reinforced the main reason we participated in this special event. In the spirit of a shared love of dogs and companionship, many members included their dogs in the mix for a “dogs day morning and afternoon”. The afternoon mixed doubles event started with cloudy skies, but our eager teams were raring to go. Two games in and the drifting balls energized by sudden gale force winds forced us to abandon the courts and move indoors. You know, the best laid plans… A great day on all counts!

Important For Your 2024 Membership
This year, starting January 1st 2024, our club will be collecting membership dues on the Pickleball Canada National Website. You must register with Pickleball Canada to become a member of our club. When you hit the JOIN-RENEW button, it is your one-stop location for joining South Cowichan Pickleball Club, BC Pickleball, and Pickleball Canada. If you belong to more than one club, you will only register with Pickleball Canada once. For more information go to Pickleball Canada and check out Membership Benefits and FAQ.
South Cowichan Pickleball Club membership fee is $50 if paid by March 31st, and $55 thereafter. These fees include the $10 Pickleball Canada and the $5.00 Pickleball BC registrations. These 2 registration fees are added to the posted $35.00/$40.00 Club registration fee.
